Is advertising is bad for your diet?
With over one hundred people in attendance the AA debate on the motion Advertising is bad for your diet took place on 10 July in Committee Room 10 of the House of Commons.
The debate was chaired by Maria Miller MP, Shadow Education Minister. Fiona Dawson, the Managing Director of Masterfoods, and John Greenway MP succeeded in defeating overwhelmingly the motion, which was proposed by Mary Creagh MP, sponsor of the Children's Food Bill, and Richard Watts, the Campaigns Manager for Sustain.
