Sixth Annual Conference: "Advertising - let’s put it into context"
Download Conference Proceedings
Advertising does not act independently of the external environment, at this conference "Advertising - let's put it into context" the aim was specifically to understand the greater influences on advertising and the debates that surround it. The conference focused particularly on the factors that affect children's health and food choices in order to promote a healthy debate on the issue and, in particular, to understand the extent that food advertising is one of the influential factors on food choice and diet. Speakers were invited from all sides of the debate, presenting the importance of diet, exercise, children's understanding of their surroundings and promotional activities.
